Fifth place finishers Basile Bourgnon and Emmanuel Le Roch make a lasting impression on this Transat Café L'Or
Emmanuel Le Roch and Basile Bourgnon, skippers of the Ocean Fifty Edenred 5, crossed the finish line of the Transat Café L'Or in Fort-de-France, Martinique, at 1:36:09 a.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025 (Paris time). Completing the 4,700-mile course in 12 days, 10 hours, 6 minutes, and 6 seconds, Basile Bourgnon and Emmanuel Le Roch took 5th place in Ocean Fifty, just four months after Edenred 5 was launched. Leading the race until Monday evening, then falling victim to a broken connecting bar, the Edenred 5 duo saw their chances of a well-deserved victory slip away. Nevertheless, Basile and Emmanuel made a remarkable journey and left a lasting impression in their first transatlantic race in the Ocean Fifty class. (Photo credit: © Jean-Marie Liot / Alea)
