Edenred introduces payments with Apple Pay in three new countries
On June 26, Greece, Slovakia and Romania became the three latest countries in the Edenred Group to introduce simple, safe and confidential payments with Apple Pay for their meal voucher users.
Thanks to Apple Pay, Greek, Slovakian and Romanian employees who use Edenred’s solutions can now use their iPhone or Apple Watch to pay all partner merchants who have a contactless payment terminal.
In 2016, Edenred pioneered this means of payment for its Ticket Restaurant Card users in France and Spain. Apple Pay is now available in 11 Edenred countries, where it has millions of potential users.
