Results of the 2016 Edenred-Ipsos Barometer on employee well-being around the world

The 11th edition of the Edenred-Ipsos Barometer, conducted among 14,400 employees in 15 countries for the first time this year, examined their well-being at work.

IPSOS barometer

What is well-being at work? How do employees perceive it? Does it vary from one country to the next? How can it be measured? And how can it be improved? Well-being at work is a growing challenge due to the presumed correlation between well-being, commitment, and ultimately the performance of companies.

The topic is a growing challenge due to the relationship between the well-being and commitment of employees and ultimately the performance of companies. The survey found that well-being at work is based on acombination of a job environment, appreciation and emotion.
Depending on how employees are positioned in relation to these three components, four country profiles were identified.
