Helping Swedish restaurant owners increase their revenue

The shift to digital meal vouchers (switching from paper to card format) is generating new opportunities, both for Edenred and for its stakeholders.

By collecting data from Ticket Restaurant®* card transactions in affiliated restaurants, the Group is now capable of finding out about the consumption habits of employee beneficiaries during their lunch break: when they eat, where they go, how much they spend, etc. This type of information is essential for restaurant owners who have little time to devote to their business performance.

After surveying its affiliated merchants to learn how to make life easier for them, and collecting data, Edenred Sweden developed a free advanced management tool for them in the form of a site.

The aim? To improve their commercial performance by thoroughly analyzing data on the use of meal vouchers and to optimize their management. Restaurant owners can now tailor their products to the specific needs of their customers, all while adopting the appropriate positioning in relation to the competition.

*In Sweden, the meal voucher solution is called Ticket Rikskuponger.
