Edenred Romania launches the first digital meal voucher in Romania

Seizing the opportunity provided by this regulatory change and drawing on the Group's digital expertise, Edenred Romania is the first local issuer to offer a solution in card format.

It has thus confirmed its status of leader on the Romanian market. The country's 800,000 Ticket Restaurant® beneficiaries can now choose between the paper and card formats, both falling within the same tax framework.
This solution has solid growth potential: of the 4.5 million employees in Romania, 2 million receive meal vouchers from their employer.
