The offering also enables companies to set up a mobility account – known as a mobility credit – to replace employees’ company cars.

Mobility assistance evolving to strengthen the purchasing power of French employees
Purchasing power initiatives, particularly to combat inflation, are on the rise. For 2022 and 2023, for example, the annual exemption threshold for the sustainable mobility allowance has been raised from €500 to €700 (€800 if combined with a public transit pass), including a maximum of €400 for fuel costs. The exemption threshold for employees’ public transit costs has been increased to 75% of the ticket price, compared with 50% previously.
In this context, 80% of employers surveyed were aware of the solution (up from 69% in 2021), and nearly 40% of organizations that have not yet implemented it plan to do so soon.
In addition to contributing positively to a company’s CSR policy (for 69% of business heads surveyed), a mobility offering boosts the employer brand (for 68%) and meets employees’ expectations (for 62%).
An increasing proportion of employees are mindful of their mobility choices and want flexible travel solutions. They are also opting for more environmentally friendly modes of transportation.
