The Top Employers Institute has been assessing companies’ human resources and management practices for more than 25 years. A unique, independent observer, it bases its certification on an audit of close to 400 questions covering some 20 areas, including talent management, training and skills development, compensation, employee benefits and culture. This year, Edenred France was particularly commended for its digital culture, employee working conditions and CSR commitments.
Several of the key initiatives in 2021 that allowed Edenred France to obtain Top Employer certification were aimed at protecting employees’ mental and physical health.
- To combat isolation and sedentary lifestyles, for example, Edenred France offers remote fitness classes, osteopathy and sophrology sessions, and workshops on sleep, stress management and self-confidence.
- In addition, a social worker and a nurse are on staff to help employees manage psychosocial risks. Regular employee get-togethers are held virtually or in person whenever possible.
- And a new co-working, brainstorming and dining area has been opened, spanning more than 500 square meters.
Nathalie Liebert, HR Director of Edenred France, said: “We are proud to be awarded the Top Employer certification for the second year running. This is a prestigious recognition, which highlights Edenred France's commitment to the quality of life of its teams. With the rise of new hybrid working models, Edenred has decided to make employees’ mental health a priority. We believe that these new challenges are relevant for both our employees and clients. We have therefore recently launched the Télétravail Edenred solution, which enables Edenred's corporate clients to finance their employees' work equipment in order to offer them an optimal experience, both on site and at home."
