Edenred adds Free2move to its Ticket Mobilité partner network to help employees with their commutes

Free2move, a major, leading player in mobility, has joined the Ticket Mobilité partner network, among 150+ mobility providers, run by Edenred, the leader in digital specific-purpose payment solutions (like Ticket Restaurant®, Ticket Mobilité, Kadéos and Télétravail Edenred) in France and worldwide. Users of the Edenred Ticket Mobilité solution can now take advantage of Free2move’s fully digital car-sharing service, offering electric vehicles for short-distance urban travel and sustainable mobility.

Ticket Mobilité works just like the Ticket Restaurant meal benefit, only for commuting. It gives employees a simple way to have up to €600 per year of their commuting costs covered by their employer.

Edenred’s Ticket Mobilité solution is a fully digital account that comes with a payment card and a mobile app. In line with France’s November 2019 mobility law (Loi d’Orientation des Mobilités Act), it can be used to pay for new sustainable and shared transportation options, introduced by the sustainable mobility allowance like cycling and car-sharing, as well as for fuel (gasoline/diesel and electricity). The Ticket Mobilité account, whose use is governed by the new mobility law, can be fully customized to fit the needs of each business.

Thanks to the new partnership between Edenred and Free2move, employees can now pay for their Free2move subscription with the Ticket Mobilité card.

Jean-Cyrille Girardin, Merchant Services Director at Edenred France, said: “Edenred is looking to create the market’s most comprehensive commuting ecosystem to help French employees every day as they move to accessible, green mobility. We’re delighted to have formed this new partnership with Free2move, which will allow our users to reduce transportation-related CO2 emissions.”

Elodie Picand, Marketing & Sales Director at Free2move, said: “Given our commitment to making electric mobility accessible to all for everyday use, we’re proud to offer Edenred Ticket Mobilité clients the option to use our 600 electric vehicles – by the minute, by the hour or by the day.

Thanks to the Free2move service, employees can enjoy almost instant access to more than 600 electric vehicles, including the compact, agile and all-electric Citroën AMI. The Free2move fleet, available in Paris and certain suburbs, is perfectly suited to city trips.
