40 years of growth and innovation for Edenred Brazil

Edenred's Brazilian subsidiary is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. A look back at a success story full of innovations.

Event

In 1976, the Brazilian government created the Workers' Food Program, the aim of which was to take into account the well-being and quality of life of Brazilian workers, which are factors of productivity for companies.
Edenred took this opportunity to launch Ticket Restaurante, its flagship product.

Ever since then, the entity has grown considerably while still maintaining the same objective of improving the efficiency of organizations and the purchasing power of employees. It has expanded its range of solutions with diverse, innovative products including Ticket Alimentação, Ticket Cultura, Ticket Transporte and Ticket Car, all while undertaking strategic acquisitions, most recently of Repom and Embratec*.

* This transaction is subject to the review of the competent authorities, and is expected to be finalized in the first half of 2016.
