2014: the year Edenred India shifted to digital

2014 was a turning point for Edenred India's shift to digital, with the launch of two new solutions: Ticket Restaurant® and Ticket Compliments® Max.

In April, Edenred seized the opportunity offered by changes to the regulatory framework to launch the first digital meal voucher solution on the Indian market: the Ticket Restaurant® card. A solution that meets the needs of companies and employees, who prefer cards to paper.

The Ticket Restaurant® card is accompanied by services including:

  • mobile application;
  • the possibility of receiving text alerts after each transaction;
  • the possibility to check the balance;
  • list of sales outlets.

Just a few months later, Edenred India launched a gift card together with MasterCard®

Ticket Compliments® Max, launched in October 2014, is accepted in the entire MasterCard® network and gives access to an unmatched choice in more than 1 million points of sale. This secure solution can be used to purchase products and services in the point of sale and on the Internet.

With Ticket Compliments® Max, beneficiaries can:

  • check their balance;
  • record of their transactions;
  • access information about the card.
