Edenred's purpose

"Enrich connections. For good."

Developed with all its stakeholders, Edenred's purpose is designed to guide the Group's strategic decisions and unite its teams by giving meaning to its organization, in line with its social, societal and environmental responsibility approach, called "Ideal".

Our purpose is a reflection of what brings us together and drives us forward: strong values, an ambitious strategy, virtuous relationships with our stakeholders, and a commitment to CSR embedded in our DNA. We make sure that it guides us in all our endeavors.

Enrich connections. For good.

"Enrich connections." Two words that reflect the Group's ability to transform each transaction into a powerful moment, and an efficient, smart and secure connection. Far more than a payment experience, each transaction meets specific needs that contribute to employee wellbeing and strengthen companies' attractiveness. They also improve the efficiency and traceability of public policies.

"For good." This is a message of progress and openness toward a better future. Edenred's solutions have a positive impact on the health and well-being of the employees who benefit from them. They support the economy and local jobs, protect vulnerable populations and help preserve the environment.

"For good." is also a promise: in a world where many connections are ephemeral, Edenred is committed to building solid, lasting relationships. These connections are meaningful and built on trust.

Concrete commitments

As proof that it is grounded in the real world, Edenred’s purpose is driven by the following three commitments for 2030, taken from the Ideal CSR policy:

The 2021 General Meeting approved a resolution making 25% of free share allocation plans contingent on the achievement of these targets, assessed over three consecutive financial years.

Edenred has also tied these CSR performance criteria to several of its financing instruments.
