Streamlining corporate payments
Corporate Payment Services are a more efficient way to manage financial flows between companies. Since 2017, Edenred has developed a wide range of payment solutions for businesses in response to growing demand for automation and reduced payment costs. Operating in Europe, Latin America and North America, the Group offers innovative solutions to meet the specific challenges of certain sectors.
Through Edenred Payment Solutions, Edenred also provides these services to fintechs and companies looking to integrate payment services into their value proposition, both in Europe and in the UK. Edenred can rely consistently on its expertise in issuing virtual cards, managing digital accounts and executing bank transfers, as well as its know-how in terms of payment regulations. This enables the Group to develop a dedicated offering for insurance companies, with a sophisticated payment solution that enables policyholders to settle their claims and medical bills without having to pay in advance. This offering, developed alongside Eyst Technology, a French insurtech, addresses the multiple challenges insurers face when disbursing funds to policyholders: manual processes, costly bank transfers and fraudulent claims attempts.
In the United States of America
Edenred also operates in the United States, where around a third of supplier payments are still made by check or in cash. Through its Edenred Pay platform, Edenred offers a cloud-based, complete and automated solution for accounts payable, thus contributing to the digitalization of this market. By combining supplier invoice processing and payment automation on its platform, Edenred offers an integrated end-to-end solution that further digitalizes, simplifies and streamlines the supplier invoice management and payment process. It has notably been chosen as a partner by renowned players in North America, such as Bottomline.
In latin-America
In Brazil and Mexico, Edenred continued to develop Punto, its point-of-sale payment acceptance solution in the Mobility sector. Punto terminals accept all payment options, with or without a card, offering partner merchants a simple, centralized solution, contributing to the digitization of payments in environments where cash is still the main form of payment. In Brazil, where the adoption of instant payments (PIX) is growing rapidly, Punto has been able to swiftly integrate this new payment method into its value proposition, giving its merchant partners broad coverage of accepted payment methods.
In these countries, Edenred also has a dedicated offering for business expenses, Empresarial. This enables companies to manage expenses more effectively and eliminates the need to reimburse expense claims. In addition to enhancing flexibility with a mobile application, the solution offers an expense tracking system that makes it possible to file for the applicable tax deductions more quickly. In all, companies that use the solution can reduce the time and resources spent on managing employee business expenses by up to 30%.
Recognizing employee performance
Incentive and rewards solutions meet the growing need of companies to retain and motivate their employees.
In Taiwan, Edenred has developed an innovative solution that allows companies to easily recognize the performance of their employees using 100% dematerialized vouchers (in the form of a QR code) and compatible with all mobile technologies on the market.
Distributed and activated in one click and completely secure, these vouchers can be used upon receipt in the store of the user's choice, in store or online.
Supporting financial inclusion
Edenred's salary card solutions also contribute to the financial inclusion of the most vulnerable employees. As in the United Arab Emirates, where 2 million unbanked or underbanked workers now have access to financial services: regular and secure payment of their wages (until then paid in cash), cash withdrawals, payment in stores, online or on mobile and international money transfers.
