EDEN project
To deal with the new challenges ahead, Edenred has set up an internal project called EDEN: Entreprendre Différemment ENsemble ("Moving forward differently together"). This name symbolises the entrepreneurial spirit and the will to reinforce its innovative corporate vocation, which is to share knowledge and respect the environment and partners.
This project has been outlined to 80 managers since January 2010. The initial tasks, which define the strategic vision for Edenred to be achieved by 2010, 2012 and 2016, are already under way. During the Edenred annual meeting, the principles of the EDEN project were shared with 140 managers from all over the world.
Among the values of the EDEN project, Edenred highlighted the importance of sharing and simplicity.
- Sharing is fundamental to relations with our partners and is based on profound mutual respect, consideration of others and generosity. Our management philosophy is based on the concept of communication and is fed by networking, which promotes the exchange of ideas and the passing on of experience.
- Simplicity is also fundamental to our relations with our partners and employees: providing quick and easy access to each solution offered to our partners and implementing a management philosophy based on natural, direct and friendly relations.
Within the scope of the EDEN project, four priority tasks have been launched. One of these priorities concerns the human resources policy and is called “Talents”. This aims to enhance the attractiveness and retention of talents throughout Edenred, and to improve staff career development.
