Environmental impacts

Even though its impact on the environment is low, Edenred is aware of the issues faced by its customers and partners. Thanks to its relationship with its shareholders, Edenred has the opportunity to understand their needs and help them to implement measures in order to protect the environment.

In this way, Edenred develops programmes and solutions that enable its customers and affiliates to reinforce their own approach to preserving the environment. Here are some examples:

Ticket Clean Way® launched the “Eco-Pressing” (Eco-Dry-Cleaning) initiative to encourage not just its affiliates but also the whole dry-cleaning profession in France to reduce their impact on the environment, improve their practices and thereby help them to comply with the increasingly strict regulations. This programme was officially launched in 2010.

In Brazil, Ticket Car® launched the Ticket Carbon Control programme in 2009, which enables customer companies to calculate the quantity of gas emissions produced by their fleets of vehicles. With this new solution, customers will be able to obtain detailed and accurate information on the CO2 emissions from the fuel consumed by their vehicles.

In Venezuela, Cestaticket®-Edenred launched the campaign “2009 eco-friendly year” with the aim of distributing an environmental awareness message every month in Ticket Restaurant® books.
